x. note to self: bottle rocket is on sky movies tonight at 10:05pm. two wilsons for the price of one! there is no bad here.
x. on the cricket:
commentator 1: and over there we have the winners of our competition ... what did they win, they won free tickets to the best seats in the house and a free pizza.
later on:
[pizzas arrive]
commentator 2: ooh, what are they having?
[cameras turn away from the cricket & zoom in on the pizza]
commentator 1: that looks like a hawaiian, that does.
commentator 2: or it could be a meat feast. have they got anchovies?
commentator 1: i don't know, david.
commentator 2: i like anchovies, me.
later on, the commentating teams switched, and they showed a shot of the second commentator sitting down with the competition winners, eating their pizza. and about two minutes ago they showed another shot of him queuing up at the burger van. :D i'm in the wrong line of work! (although it wouldn't help much at weight watchers if all i ate was pizza & burgers. that said, i had domino's yesterday and it was the greatest thing ever :)) mmm, pizza. now with added guilt!)
x. this morning i bid £11.90 for a plastic figurine of gambit from the x-men. for shame :(( my boss really needs to come back off holiday so i actually do work instead of bidding for things i don't really want all day. it will also stop gillian from listening to the evita soundtrack all day (there are only so many times i can hold back from crying for argentina, you see).
